Mulberry Bush. Get out at Waterloo (best to get out the SOUTH BANK exit, which doesn't take you into the main station itself but onto York Road instead). From there you basically go left, then left again, then right, under Waterloo Bridge to get to Upper Ground. There's a wine bar underneath the arches there, but it's shut from 2-5. As you walk along Upper Ground it's mostly carparks from memory, but there's a Pizza Express on the right, then a Chez Gerard (opposite the QEH, to the left) and then you come to the old LWT (ITV) building on the left (it's huge -10 storeys, or more) and then the Mulberry Bush is on the right.

 Thank Mr Jarvis for this, and note his lovely green marker on the map for the more stupid of you daft buggers on here.

See you's the morra

No Cider Al? Damn, the Mrs will be really pissed (in the US sense) but hey, I won't tell her til we're there!

We should arrive around 3 - 3.30 the idea being to get a seat and a few beers down us...

Oh, and a 'Young's' pub??? Yeuuuuchhh!

Should be in the pub for 1.30ish if there's any other early birds likely to be about. Not fond of daytime drinking as it inevitably leads to ending up c**ted and remembering little about the main event. Might stick to shandy...or cider (aherm!)

Nope, by train the morra me ole fruitcake.

We usually travel down by car and leave it at Finchley - thus catching train intae London (about 20 minutes on train) you can get a return for about £6 matey :thumb:

Cash machines are inside Waterloo main-line station, towards the 'low-numbered platforms' end. I will hopefully turn up at the boozer late afternoon. I will look for some of the nutters, sorry.....people I met at the Hyde Pk piss-up, not that you'd remember me!
