DREAM ATTACK

I've just listened to Dream Attack from Reading 93 from this site and even though the sound was shit, i was thankful to hear it live. I need to hear this song live when New Order tour the U.S. in 2002. It's so hard to choose a favorite N.O. song but this has to be it for me. Plus, i think it would sit happily alongside Someone Like You. The elements that comprise Dream Attack are very similar to Get Ready material. What are the odds? Dream Attack was also one of the first songs Barney utilized his smooth voice to it's full potential. Beautiful moment. Must be added to the set. If New Order continue to play the same set every show what's the purpose of seeing every show? Barney banter? Barn dancing?

on a seperate note, does anyone know if Gillian can make it to these shows? i hope for a full recovery for their child but perhaps their limited set for Area:one etc. was restricted by what songs Phil knew.

Guilty Partner would be great. I could live with that. I though they snubbed Technique on the last tour. They should add 2 tracks from one of their best albums don't you think? Do we need both Touched and Blue Monday? Haven't we heard Love Will Tear Us Apart already? Lets hear some Technique. If they were going to do a track from Technique, Dream Attack would fit with the current sound a little better.

Hopefully the track list from what they were playing in the US will change a bit-think they'll probably play a bit more of the new stuff hopefully-I for one wouldn't be to disappointed for them to drop all the JD stuff-maybe with the exception of Atmosphere. Agree with the Dream Attack point-love to hear that song more than any other live.

Isn't Turn My Way going to be the third single? In any event, since it's the best thing on GR, I can't imagine it being dropped from set list.

Would you rather hear Turn My Way or Dream Attack/Guilty Partner? Turn My Way is a good album track but it's concert filler. Someone Like You and Primitive Notion must be added.

i read a review of the vancouver gig that mentioned Hooky saying they weren't "allowed" to play songs from Technique. is that true? they did make several comments that were not true but their set (although splendid) was desperately needing some Techinique and DREAM ATTACK in particular.
