I want "New Order - A Collection"...

Hi to all... Last month i´ve ordered on Amazon.co.uk the new DVD from New Order.... I live in Portugal, so i thought this would be a nice way to get it... I´ve waited, and waited, and today i´ve received this mail:

Dear Customer,

We are sorry to report that the following item has been delayed.

New Order (Actor) "New Order - A Collection"

Our current estimate is that it will take an additional 3-5 weeks to obtain this item for you.

I can´t belive on this.... 3-5 weeks???? And on the website says availability: 1-2 days!!! I WANNA THE DVD!!!

That's nothing. I'm in the UK and still waiting for the Ltd Item set from HMV 11 days after it was released.

I sent them a very stiff email last night telling them I could have ordered it from the States and got it quicker (seeing as it was released 2 weeks earlier that would have been a better move) and to pull their fingers out.

Well Kev-by ordering online you`re saving £6,waiting an additional 3 weeks and like everyone else who ordered from HMV online,will probably recieve a region 1 copy which will be no good.

Easier to pop down the high street mate! :)

HMV in Edinburgh had shit loads of copies of all 3 on tuesday should take a little journey up there

i got the same, bag of shite isn't it, i knew something was wrong when it said estimated delivery time 2-3 days, estimated despatch date 2nd oct. On the 4th oct not yet despatched.

But in UK the DVD is just now in the stores??

Well, it's been out nearly 2 weeks now...

Came out last Monday, so that was 3rd October...

Still not got mine from fcuking hmv.co.uk - if it wasn't for the slipcase being the only difference (and NO the DVD's from HMV, like elsewhere, AREN'T region 1 - they're just NTSC!!!), I'd have bought both seperately! :)

I have 2 multi-region DVDs as I used to rarely buy R2 discs when DVD first came out so R1 suits me fine. HMV will send R2 discs but they are NTSC so your TV needs to be able to play them, again, no problem for me.

If I ordered through www.absound.ca the 2 DVD Item set will cost me about £6 less (inc postage) than the HMV online price. So that is £12 less than the HMV shop price. It just seems crazy to order something like this from across the pond when HMV say they can supply this.

Seriously, after this debacle, who will ever use HMV online ever again? I preorder stuff to get it on the day of release not 3 weeks later

apparently the HMV exclusive is in stock now as it says: "Availability: normally ships in 24 hours".hurry up!
