This is very trainspottery, so apologies!

Just wondered how many New Order UK 12"s have normal white inner sleeves?

My Perfect Kiss has a normal white inner and I have seen some with a red inner. Same with True Faith and I know that there is a printed white inner for that one!

Were some later editions released with normal cheaper inner sleeves?

a few came with glossy white inner sleeves but the perfect kiss must be the most unusual one.

mentioned it on here before but i have about 4 different colour inner sleeves with it pinky/red, blue, black & another colour (yellow?)

Excellent THREAD!Yes the colours of PEFECT KISS was first brought to my attention by HUNTSMAN and HIBSTER years ago on this forum. There is a YELLOW one according to HUNTSMAN.Some like TRUE FAITH had the WHITE SHINY inner sleeve.HAs anyone else here noticed how the inner sleeves for the WFTSC 7 inch in the deep blue colour show up every FINGERPRINT!Where are my MARIGOLDS when i need them? :D Rocket Mick:hat:

While we're on inner sleeves....how about BLUE MONDAY? Recently I discovered a YELLOW inner for die-cut floppy disk outer jacket and its an Italian issue. So far I have the UK black, UK silver, UK non-die cut (...i know, there's also diff versions of run-off groove messages on UK releases... ) USA soft plastic black, OZ non-die cut with printed silver circle ( how lame is that! ) OZ standard die-cut no floppy disc cut-outs, NZ non-die cut with printed silver circle & lettering......any more different variations? I bet there's more from you guys. Someday I plan to compose a poster with all these BM sleeves attached to it in rows & columns....and call it MY BLUE MONDAYS :D

The white inner sleeve of Touched by the Hand of God is my favorite. It's beautiful! Best use of Helvetica Neue 1 I've ever seen. :D

Well, I read a thread on David Sultan's WorldInMotion message board that the vinyl edition of GET READY (how rare was this?) came with just a bog standard inner paper sleeve - unlike all their other albums post-Movement. Now THAT is shocking. :skeptic:

Quite true, just checked.

At least they redeemed things somewhat with the deluxe Sirens' package.

Do any of yours have the first two beats missing on BM? A mate of mine had one with a die cut sleeve, the labels the right way round, and bm started with the semi-quaver bassdrum rol instead of the two crotchet beats before hand as every other versions starts.

My 12" version - bought in 1983 but NO die-cut sleeve - just solid black - and silver inner - HAS the stuttering part of the beat (9 hits on the kick drum) at the very start before the rest of the beats as heard on all other versions. This is a very strange one. How was it allowed to happen like this? Anyone know for sure?

Here's the diffetnce wrutten out again those who missed it first time round:

Substance/compilation LP/US cassette Factus 12 version:

d. d. d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. d. d. d. d. d. d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. d. d. d. d. d...... etc...

MY 12" vinyl fact 73 version: (and how many others?)

d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. d. d. d. d. d. d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d. d. d. d. d. d...... etc....

So, in actual fact it's MISSING the first two beats more than anything, whilst the compilation album versions have those two extra beats in first.

My head is all-a-spinning now!

i know this is a nerd alert thread but i cant resist hehehe, didnt PK also come with a silver inner sleeve as im sure mine has,the bluemonday and confusion inner sleeves where also multi coloured and various fake colour bars on them??. now for the real geek stuff, joy divisions still album was delayed because some bright spark had made the inner sleeves a tad to big and so more had to be made up as they wouldnt fit in the outer sleeves. da daaaaaa.
