Salford Rules !

Great news from the North of England,

Salford Community Radio has been granted a FIVE year license to broadcast around the Greater Manchester area and online.

Big shout to Hooky and everyone from this board who listened in to the shows i did in June.

i've been told i'll be back on with my own show, but this won't be for another year i don't think.

will keep you all informed, thanks again for the support and interest shown by the fans on here.

It's a very depressing place though, despite the musical heritage....

The major depressant is the the minimal broadcast range of 5km - from the Swinton transmitter - which means that many areas of Salford won't get reception.

Just don't let "Big Pev" take the controls ;)
