With some of the gems the boys have brought back recently, this gig could see a much revamped and fresh sounding set list. Hopefully they may have another surprise or two lined up for us all. This little lot would do me nicely :shades:

Ceremony Transmission Love Vigilantes EGG Regret Sirens Crystal She's Lost Control Atmosphere True Faith LWTUA Temptation

Shadowplay AOC Warsaw

Much of the same as the summer I'd say, with the possible exception of Shadowplay or Warsaw being thrown in.

But I'd love to see Ceremony, AOC and Sunrise make a welcome return

Good list, but take out Love Vigilantes and put in Dreams Never End.

I doubt they'll be playing DNE any time soon. But hey, I didn't expect them to play Warsaw and Shadowplay, either!

We can all still hope and pray for TPK (hey, that rhymed) and Ceremony, though. Let's hope at least one of them makes it back into the set. But I agree with John - I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few, ahem, surprises.:D

How do you say the name of that song? Is it "Three one gee" or "Thirty-one gee"?

People seem to look at me funny which ever way I say it?

They can play anything and i'd be happy- although WIM, BM and J-E-T should be avoided.

Considering that they are lazy old predictable bastards I'll go with.

I have a feeling that we may get something they haven't done before at this one, maybe Who's Joe or Turn. They'll almost certainly do Warsaw and maybe Shadowplay as well. The oldmonkey predictions for the Apollo are thus:

Who's Joe? Crystal Regret Hey Now What You Doing Transmission Krafty Atmosphere WFTSC True Faith BLT She's Lost Control LWTUA Temptation

Playing J-E-T twice is against the law, surely?

Actually, given the new found interest in all things New Order by the Third Battalion, I believe they're gonna do an all BSP covers setlist. And we all have to sit on our hands and stay quiet. Sshhh.

I hope they play something like confusion or Perfect Kiss. I'm getting sick of Love vig live.

Keep in mind I've never been to a NO gig though - just from them playing it heaps recently, hearing about it alot and its not one of the best ones anyway.

I'm afraid you are on your own with this opinion, Mil. BA was right to recognise your comment as bollocks, sorry. Maybe you just haven't listened to LoveVig enough to appreciate it? CTB :bear:

It's boring.

Only good song on LowLife is Subculture.

It'd be good to hear that live.

No, you're boring.

Low-life is packed full of great tracks. If you don't like classic NO tracks such as Love Vig, TPK, Sunrise and Face Up, then you don't like NO.

Think we'll get what they've been playing all summer with the two newly rehearsed tracks thrown in. Fancy them to open with something like WARSAW to get the show rolling. Bit liked when they crashd straight in with Love Viga at Move having opened with Crystal at every other gig in 2002. Took us completely unawares.

Mate, when you openly confess to having a Goth persuasion you're opinions are never gonna carry enough credibility to mean Jack to anyone.

Now trot off back to the 80s. There's a good boy.

Just because I have an avater of Andrew Eldritch doesn't make me a Goth. Please explain when I 'openly confess to having a Goth persuasion' I'm dying to know.

And what's wrong with me not liking LowLife?

Why don't you trot back to 1985, and stay there?

No. Killing Joke in Liverpool strapped me for cash.

Well said - if you start having a pop at NOOL's very own internationally-accepted nice-guy JG and LowLife in general, you'd best be perpared for flaming. Nobody likes a smartarse. Or a goth. CTB :bear:

I'm waiting on you pointing out how I'm a goth and a smartarse.

It isn't a big deal that I don't like an album. There's worse things in the world that could happen.

So what if I don't like LowLife?

Suppose to be going back to me folks next weekend. You're getting into Kloot a bit strong aren't yer !

Chris - I'd love to get back to 1985, the gigs the Order put in that year were quality. Don't take it all so seriously chap :thumb:

I guess I made the incredibly misguided connection between your avatar and Eldritch quote. I assumed these combined suggested you might have been a goth - I literally couldn't care less either way, to be honest:yawn:

I think it would be naive to expect anything other than the usual "Greatest Hits":

RegretBizarre Love TriangleCrystalKraftyWFTSCLove will tear us apartTemptationBlue MondayAtmosphere

So that's just over half the setlist down with space left for them to air some new stuff, personally I'd love to hear:

Love Vigilantes - Far from 'boring'Everything's Gone Green - Only played once this year?WarsawPerfect Kiss - Something like the Reading 93 versionMorning Night And DayEveryone Everywhere or Ruined in a day - Either would perfectly open an encore

Failing that little lot any WFTSC or Low-life album tracks would be very welcome. I doubt any fans would hold it against the band if they decided to drop LWTUA or Blue Monday from the set to try something new out? Classic tunes but they've been done to death live.

that's my favourite song!! I love it! I doubt I will ever hear them play that live:\ohwell:

I like Movement in general and I still can't believe Hooky once said he was soooooo "ashamed" of that album. He did mention, though, he listens to it often!!I know what it lacks but, overall, it's a damn good album!

I'd like return of Vanishing Point and Perfect Kiss on their play list. And State of the Nation!

Dude did you HEAR the version they spat out that spotnic posted. It was grim. Of course they've had time to rehearse (ROFLMAO yeah right). EGG is an iconic dance track to me, it's like I feel love or acidtrax....I'd rather they didn't do it that make a limp attempt. I doubt anything on that stage except maybe the monomachine ( which I think might actually be FOR EGG based on some observations and guesswork from hyde and glasto), can make a noise as gutfucking as an ARP or even as downright funky as a voyetra. Still if they promise not to fuck it up, I will stuck in the lighting gantry for most of it screaming like a westlife fan.

Ceremony would be nice too. And i'll be dissappointed if they don;t do YSF.
