This has probably been discussed before (and if so, please forgive me) but I have noticed a few similarities between Lets Go (original demo version) and Sooner Than You Think. The vocal melody sounds very similar in the verses of both songs for one. Secondly, the "Waiting for so long, Oh Ive been waiting for a chance to see you" would fit in quite well instead of "You know what we do is so unkind, we search for the life we need to find".
It could well be that both songs follow the same chord sequence. Also, wasnt the demo of Lets Go recorded about 1984? In which case, is it possible that NO discarded the song and used bits for Sooner Than You Think? Or maybe they discarded it as it sounded too similar to STYT?
Also, the keyboard instrumental to Lets Go sounds quite similar to that in the instrumental break of 60MPH.
I would love for NO to re-record Lets Go, in the vein of the original demo. I think it has greater potential than the 1995 Arthur Baker produced version (IMO).
