Turn vs Turn edit

Theres something not right about the version of Turn on Singles.The clipped intro just makes it sound like the "needle" jumping.And Bernards vocals sound different somehow.Like he re did them but sounds nervy and unconfident.I know thats a characteristic of his vocal style we normally like about him but on the edit i dont like it.

Or maybe it`s just my hearing this morning (see 'shall obey or shallow bay' thread)

I agree that the editing of the intro basically ruins the whole song. I'm not sure if there's anything about what follows that's different, but starting out so wrong ruins the whole experience.
