Good idea. This thread has potential to be one of the greatest in NOOL history.

Duck, I'm about as fucking Scottish as Henry VIII. Ignore what it says to the left - I'm from fucking Stoke, I was born in Stoke, I don't live in fucking Scaberdeen no more, and my mum's useless transvestite alcoholic Govan scum side of the family can piss right off!!!
But, yeah, he whoops in EGG. Like his life depended on it, in fact!
I'm thinking EGG as well.
Been busting my brain trying to trump it but just can't.
Western works? probably not.
Also been trying to think of any Barney vocaliaztions on JD live stuff but can't...ian musta had a stick or something. Actually, one of my fave moments in 24hpp is the first time you see "barney" on stage, and he INSTANTLY says something totally moronic and barney about ian bein in the pisser. For all the big facts they tweaked, they sure got the details right :)
Clayhead, we should get your mum and my dad out on a date, if i knew where the cunt was :)

Mate, it was my mum's useless alcoholic manic-depressive brother that introduced me to the Order in the first place, dragging me up to Manc for the GMEX '88 gig when I was a mere babe of 14 years. It's a long story, but he was a proto-Viking for several years (many gigs across Europe circa '84-'86, so he tells me); he later ended up following Simply Red across the country. Go figure.

i listened to western works a little while ago and heard no whoops. of course there's only one song with barney's vocals on it; homage had a yip or something halfway through, but it wasn't made by barney.

He sobered up?
Cheers Agent, saves me finding it :)

Hell, no!! He was a Rangers fan, so I'm quite glad - would've ended up giving Shug & co. the "feinian wanker" schtick before you'd know it....
EGG for sure. Hannett nicely mixed the whoops into the sonic blend, but there's plenty in there.
Listen to the Glastonbury 1981 bootleg. JFC Barney goes full throttle with whoops and howls and made up lyrics. By the 4th tune he forgot the lyrics for the rest of the gig.
