For me, it's been a double-shot of XTC (Black Sea and Skylarking). I picked up Black Sea saturday, and it reminded me that I had Skylarking, so I put both in my cd player and listened whilst working on my homework. ![]()

Tonight will be a night for the new Chemical Brothers album as well as Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, V.2 & 3.
BTW Tabsy, I love Black Sea a bunch!!!
Got the Starsailor CD last nite....
and also.....this is embarrasing....Classix Neuveoux's compilation CD....well I was an X-Ray Spex fan, you see..
I picked up The Strokes album yesterday and have been listening to it. I think it is good, anyone else have it or like it?
Maxwell - Maxwells Urban Hang Suite
Handsome Boy Modelling School - So Hows Your Girl?
Both good laid back hip hop albums which sound good with the bass right up!!!!! Handsome sound a bit like Gorrillaz in some places due to work with Del and Dan the Automater

Beautiful text representation of the start of True Faith.
Except I would have sail that bit was "BWARP" rather than "BZZZ". Or that could just be last night's curry.
Get Ready and Muffy's fine rarities compilation, in answer to the original question.

Been listening to Back to Love 2 on my way to work, an early House compilation to perk me up on these rainy mornings! Been listening to Power, Corruption & Lies a lot lately too.
Been trying to get to grips with the new Chemical Bros album, but it just ain't sinking in.
At this point, I'd say it's dreadful.

good on you! the only way to become a "complete" NewOrder fan !!
There are certain Electronic tracks that i actually prefer to some NewOrder material - thats how highly i rated them.. Never was a huge Smiths fan but Oscillate Wildly (instrumental) is fantastic and Johnny Marr is a Guitar GOD!
ps: totally brilliant sig mate!! - i saw the interview thread - how funny is that :) :D

Is it really that bad? Still haven't gotten round to buying it yet.....Loved 'Star Guitar'. How does the new album compare to 'Surrender' (which I loved)?
Some thing called Get Ready...apparently they're a young, up and coming English band. It's not too bad. Kinda grows on you...and Come With Us by The Chemical Brothers, who have been around for twenty years or so. I'm hoping that Come With Us grows on me like Get Ready has (because one thing they have in common is that I wasn't all that thrilled with either of them when I first heard them). DR
Hey Inta-Don...what's that flower you have on?
And did I hear you say Johnny Marr is a guitar god? Damn straight! Funny...I was sitting at work two days ago listening to Twisted Tenderness and spontaneously hit pause, called the missus, and announced "Johnny Marr is a GUITAR GOD!" Not that she really cared, but...this is absolutely true...I just had to tell somebody. Damn he's good. The guitar outro on Haze absolutely slays me.
This sounds like another thread. Let me breathe into a paper bag for a second...
No albums on today, but I've been trolling mp3.com for fellow Clevelanders to remix, listening to Critikill and Full Blown Kirk.
On the player today: Ministry of Sound Real Garage. I hate a good deal of it, but it takes me back to last summer's London vacation. I do like the Sia and Gabrielle tracks.
this week i have mostly been listening to screamadelica & faithless' first - reverance/irreverance
Yesterday and today...
Otis Redding - The Soul Album Isley Brothers - 3+3 New Order - Brotherhood Miss Kitten And The Hacker - First Album Bad Religion - The Process Of Belief
