HOOKY and WILSON on CH4s TOP 20 GREATEST GIGS

Anyone catch this tonight on Channel 4.Hooky,Wilson,Devoto and Paul Morley all discussing No 3 best gig of all time...The Sex Pistols at The Lesser Free Trade Hall ,Manchester.A significant gig with a small turn-out,but half the audience went on to better things.As well as the Order,Morrissey,Mick Hucknell and ...er...John The Postman. 2nd greatest gig was Jimi Hendrix,and No 1..which was justified,QUEEN at Live Aid!!

I turned off when it got to number 4!

With the content of the list being like it was to that number figuired we'd have Dylan going electric & Live Aid as 1 & 2.

Far too many old geezers in it. Or gigs being great 'cos of who was guesting with them for my liking.

Brian Wilson playing Msile for the first time? woop de doo. About 30 years earlier & it may have meant something.

U2 at Red Rocks ampitheatre was about #5.The Clash doing some anti-league gig.The Stones!Radiohead at Glastonbury,while everyone was wet and muddy..and generally waterlogged,The Head rocked with their Bends material. Can anyone remember the others?
