Anybody up for a NOOL 2006 calendar? — Forum Archive

I'm just asking around, I had this thought a few weeks ago when we opened the shop.

It would feature pictures taken by NOOLers I guess, problem is, I have no idea which pictures I can use or not... I had a photo pass at some gig, so I was entitled to take pictures, but I have no idea which limitations I have to use them... I mean, can I actually sell posters of them?! :confused2:

I know WenOrder checked, and problem is always quantity vs price, so unless many many people want them, it will be a very hard project to do I think... but then again, what do I know. :shrug:

Since 2006 is very soon, and doing a quality product needs more time, if we do it, it would be a poster calendar...

But obviously it requires a little interest, as those things requires to make a minimum of 200 to have a decent price.

If it's a poster, yes, otherwise, we'd have to do it for 2007.

I've asked management if we could use our pictures, but, hum, they are busy today, don't know why... :scratch:

I honestly think it's a GREAT idea but you should wait until next year so you can do a 16-month calendar for the last 4 months of 2006 and the whole of 2007.

You'll probably get more sales anyway. :)

pix of band/band members only
Gillian's pic for April (my birthday)

Non-serious suggestions would be: 3. Barney for one of the summ(n)er months June July or August 4. Hooky for December wearing santa outfit 5. Stephen for May (Morris dancing season starts)(traditional English folk ritual for you aliens)

Incidentally, maybe it's been in another thread and I missed it but the WFTSC album cover is the Periodic Table symbol for Nobellium

The idea is crazy enough to make me want one!

There is definitely a couple of pics of Hooky and Barney around in nothing but trunks / shorts, but presume this isn't what this is about!

We could have a 'fan's-with-their-arm-around-Bernard' calendar with the amount of that type that have appeared this year.

I'm voting for me with my arm around Barney as February valentines - somebody please edit Gary off it! :evil4:

I'd be up for one or two.

Suggestion - there seem to be one or two of us here who have a photographic background - we could create our own calendar, perhaps re-creating NO album/single sleeves, promotional shots, with a bit of creativity that would work. Perhaps some cool/arty portraits of NOOLers - whether they're as pretty as Sam, Gerry, Ness, Tricia and Maya or as ugly as me, Al, Steve, Jim, Tim, Shug, Mike, Martin, etc, etc. - sorry guys, but the girls beat us hands down...

I'd be happy to take some pics of any guys or girls willing to pose (nothing dodgy!)

Any royalties, etc. would be avoided and it would be a nice 'personal' touch for all here.

Could be a bunch of guys posing as in some of the classic JD shots, people dressed looking like the TBTHOG video - anything that comes to mind. Could run a picture competition too - that would have to be for the 2007 calendar I suppose.

P.S. I bags the WFTSC single photoshoot. If I could find a a model... Tim, how about it? :laugh:
