Apparently the ten most popular songs at funerals are as follows:

1 My Way Frank Sinatra 2 Wind Beneath My Wings Bette Midler 3 Angels Robbie Williams 4 My Heart Will Go On Celine Dion 5 Simply The Best Tina Turner 6 I Will Always Love You Whitney Houston 7 You’ll Never Walk Alone Gerry and the Pacemakers 8 Over The Rainbow Eva Cassidy 9 Time To Say Goodbye Sarah Brightman 10 We’ll Meet Again Dame Vera Lynn

All utter shite of course and no doubt better heard when dead I guess.

What would you have played at your funeral? Maybe one of the following: * Face up ("Can you see your own dark face? It's dying in a lonely place") * In a lonely place ("The hangman looks around as he waits, Gullet stretches tight and it breaks") * Isolation * Leave me alone * Lonesome Tonight * Murder * Paradise * Spooky * Your silent face

Cue humerous and heated debate...

I have already burned a mix-CD for my funeral. My favourite ever song 'Moon River', track 1 from the Breakfast at Tiffany's soundtrack CD followed by 'Lonesome Tonight'... How many times before could you tell I didn't care... You believe in youth, etc. Ultimate funeral track. Makes me want to be there to hear it!
