I would like to have an all out sonic guitar, drum and bass assault that pays tribute to the days of 24 hours and the like. all new tracks of course, no JD covers.

AN EP OF ACOUSTIC STUFF WOULD BE NICE. IT WOULD SHOW THE SONGS IN STRIPED DOWN CONTEXT WITHOUT LOADS OF PRODUCTION, OVERDUBS, KEYBOARDS, ETC. HENCE, HIGHLIGHT JUST HOW GOOD THE ACTUAL SONGS ARE.
SUGGESTIONS FOR SONGS WOULD BE: AS IT IS WHEN IT WAS ROUND AND ROUND TURN LEAVE ME ALONE LOVE VIGILANTES
I've said similar in another post.
i'd like to see four (or five if gillian was to get involved again) versions of a track, each produced by each member of the band, to see what elements each sees as essential and to take the track into a more personal place.
I'd also like some re-recorded JD and early NO tracks, with time for barney to do a decent vocal on them (and change key if necessary.
EPs are good because they provide what singles used to provide when people bought them regularily, and that is creativity. A group can go off the wall, push the envelope, etc with an EP so from New ORder I would expect lost of distorted guitars, a range of vocals from moody, to monotone, to maniacle. Also lost of electronics/synths/beats. EP's ought to be experimental, that might be an exciting release from a group like New Order who are under a lot of pressure to please so many fans with so many different tastes for them. Mess it up.
