And to think I handed Hooky a CD of the slightlynarrow, with all the vocals removed LOL, coulda been "Fourbass" and all :)

I'm actually looking forward to freebase stuff purely from the point of view of a bass supremacist, and I bet that every other string rumbler here feels the same....sack the band, get a drum machine and another coupla bassplayers, perfect. All they need is someone who can do tap (bass, not dancing) to do the percussion parts, fuck maybe I SHOULD apply :D Then again since standing watching is too stressful these days I think NOT.

With Alex S. as a singer, the first cover played by Freebass could be Turn, 'cos it sounds like "The Reckoning", doesn'it ?

well id chuck my hat in the ring as im told constantly that i can sing but im a bastard. if hooks n co have a shred of style they will drag in a young lass 17-18ish and give er a legg up. if only for the reason that id like to see hookys bass lined up with a female singer as i think it would sound rather cool.

ABSOFUCKINLUTELY that's a superb idea. Maybe that copy of community I gave him will do some good :) There's some sweet sounding lasses on that for sure.

Actually, from a more technical point of view....getting a growly bloke to sound good on top of three basses is not gonna be easy, especially live where the basses are gonna be far less tightly mixed and controlled, a chick would cut through it like a fuckin laser.
