Wasim, ha, now I'll get ya! Get ready to see my storm into your house. You must have: beer, money and girls around! Await my bell ring. ![]()
Maybe we should get a database of NOOLer Google Earth references. It's a bit more fun.
:\pimp3:
Found a way to be more exact.. when you register, you can actually select the exact emplacement of your home, even if you're not listing the right city...
I wonder if that's a good thing though... ![]()
I knew that Kirschy was getting hooked up to the net at home but I didn't realise that his connection also acted as an interdimensional portal to Rhode Island, USA!! Cheaper than international airfares, eh. Not as far to get in touch with one of his fave female NOOLers either.
On my profile my marker is spot on. On the community map it's been moved to a poorer part of town! Hope the mortgage people don't view it!
Added myself but according to the map, I live in the middle of a roundabout near to what looks like an industrial estate...![]()
Hmmm...apparently I left my house and moved all the way across town, where I live in a tent in a field in the middle of nowhere.

It sticks you where your towns offical centre is....hence if you look, Ilive in the harbour cos Bangor's official centre is the coastgaurd station, mind you google is off by 100yrds or so and plots it in the sea. (used to be the town hall)
I'm on, and apparently I live in the middle of a dual carriage way, parking will be a bit tricky.
I just figured how to put it right, It's now bob-on.

east coast usa, great. who needs a TARDIS.
Prematurely representing Palmerston North, although still a resident of the hell that is Londoninium....
someone told me that the exact centre of a city is where the first post office was built... I live right next to the old post office in aberdeen, so I suppose I am in the centre exactly.

i'm only disappointed in some of our fans who decided to interrupt the minutes silence for George Best. Wankers. Some of our fans take their hatred for Man U too far.

and See? and I thought that (minute of silence and arm bands) was over sentimentalized PAP! Wholly appropriate for two teams with the history that these two teams have with Utd. Good on them for standing up to forced shared tragedy and sentimentalism.
I did appreciate Gerrard not wearing the black besty arm band, unlike our Distin who fell in for it :(
so footballers really SHOULD be the lowest form of life then? fair enough. Suppose if it was spides in Formula-1 they'd have driven over the row of mourners and the Brazillian and Austrian flag on the front row of the grid after the death of Senna and Ratzenberger.
Deliberately isulting the family and friends of a dead man because he wore a slightly differnt shade of red, is just the sort of clever behaviour that keeps Northern ireland the fun place it is.
I suppos u got no problem with Micharl stone attacking terrorists at a funeral then?
Don't get me wrong, I know eaxctly what you're raging against.....enforced emotions. I laughed my cock off about Diana, and did my best to remind all my Suddenly Diana worshipping English mates that they hated her 48 hours earlier. However, I would NOT have started yelling "fuck the old cunt she's dead" in front of buckingham palace.

That would have been hillarious if you did though :D

Fuckin idiot.
Luckily dickheads like you are the minority, I'd be happy if you were all locked in a cage with nothing to do but chuck shit at each other.
I know many City & LFC fans that were appalled by the events.
Grow up and get some dignity.

No it wouldn't, because her family and friends may have heard it, and no matter what my beef with her was, or even with them, it's far too cheap a shot. Again tho, you;re right about this kind of state sanctioned soppyness (like victims now being worship as heros, reducing actual heros to the level of victims, call me old fashioned but I kinda think someone who drags a person from a burning building at great risk to themselves deserves the title a little more than someone who's sole achievement in life was ending it as organic shrapnel. I am a vicious cruel and nasty person, I laugh at all sorts of things you're not meant to laugh at, AND I even had my own wee speech about people sucking Bestie off cos he was dead, but that is LOW what they did.
Anyway, in a massive break from tradition....let's get back on topic, so how do you do the micro-moving thing to get the arrow right like someone mentioned.
It's interesting to see where the fans are at, but I just hope the management don't look at this map or I might keep taking 12-hour flights to see New Order live. ![]()
i've hit that shit, although i'm 12 miles out from my actual digs, but nevermind.
someone else pretend to be from oban so i'm not on my own

Actually she never annoyed me a great deal, until she went from public enemy No1 to people's hero overnight just by dying. Course she did some good, might have done more with her OWN money instead of smiling to help people raise some.
What really blew my mind was all the worship stuff after she croked....I was screaming "but you fucking hate her you hyporcits". Ah well at least I still have some stuff on video made before she died, so the Govt. can't re-write history :)
I loved her loads before she died as did a load of other people.
Although the media did the usual celeb thing: praise / build up / attack / destroy / deify in death...
She may have slapped it around a bit, but who cares, I mean, would you say 'no'- and it's her personal work that counted, not the bed post notches.
The work with HIV/AIDS, the Landmines/anti-weapons campaign and the way she tore a strip or two of the royal veneer away were the main things i'll remember her for....
Anyway...
Sorry to have continued the drift :topic: (Feel free to maybe start a behind closed doors thread..?)
Back to who is from where in the world... blah... blah...
From what I can work out, according to that map I live in the local branch of "Poundland" My secret's out then.

Sizeable portion of the populace went right with it. You didn't, and that's why I wouldn't have stood out the front of buck house callin her a cunt, it would have offended more than the fucks that need offending.Course she did loadsa good, I'm just "being at it" :)
Right, nuff said, case closed. Gonna have to use this frappertronics thingy to see which of you lot live closest to a decent F1 race track. :D
I never hated Diana. Her death was a tragedy made worse that she effectively died because of her celebrity and the fact that her in-laws appeared reluctant to return to London to acknowledge the grief of the public. If you'd turned up at Buck House or KP in the days after her death and shouted obscene remarks in poor taste I'm pretty certain you'd have been lynched.
The royals had already started descending the slippery slope towards soap opera before she came along. I've no respect for any of them now; she was the last one I had any for.
Imagine the following:
(On the night before their wedding)
Diana: Promise me that you'll give up seeing her (Camilla) and never see her again.
Charles: Obviously my relationship with Camilla will change once you and I are married but...
Charles slept with Camilla the night before his wedding to Diana and wore the two Cs cufflinks she had given him as he walked up the aisle! How about that for bare-faced cheek?
The idea that we - the lowly people, the peasants - are supposed to look up to and admire the royals is well down the road.
As for worshiping her and Besty after their deaths, admiration is one thing but worship is something else. They both did good in a world with a lot of bad in it. Best pissed his talent away and that was a criminal waste but he will be remembered as one of the greatest players of all-time (so said Pele of all people) as well as being a piss-artist. By their deeds they shall be remembered...
Ps I added myself to this here Frappr thing.

Ace, being a silly cow as I am, it took me almost 3 hours to add myself to that frappprrr map, it's just that this moron couldn't find his way home so she's now being positioned somewhere near Dominicana :O How do I change that?
EDIT:
PS - I'm in!! ![]()
Everytime I try to register I get the "invalid city" message... but I clicked on the "not in the us" field!
Go figure...

google probably uses a silly spelling or something.
Start from Lisbon and work out maybe?
( still don't know how to do fine adjustment tho)
Added! I'll have to change from Copenhagen to Denver, Colorado once I move back to the States in three weeks, though. It looks like I'm the only one in Denmark at the moment!

They don't have all cities obviously.. if you register an account, select the closest existing city and move your location map to the right place.
New Order should tour in Africa and the Middle East...
Gee... even in the 23K members around.. I think we can count the members from there on 2 hands.
Done! In the Frappr world I now live in Madrid (wherever that is!), but that's not important, is it? :D
I've got to get myself one of these

Why there's nobody from the Magrib or Middle East? Where are fans from India and Russia?? Can't imagine all the people living in these areas and not liking NO. Boring!
