The Brain mix is available on the German (and South African) CD releases of Blue Monday 95. Harder to get these days but not impossible. It's the one where Barney notoriously sang, "Drink it in the sun- Sunkist is the one" for a large wad of notes, if I'm not mistaken.

Is there any truth in the story that New Order were approached by another US/multi-national Car-manufacturing giant to use Blue Monday in their advert, on the condition that they too could have slightly abridged lyrics to the song? And Hooky and Rob Gretton less-than-politely told them where to get off. I can't help feeling that I heard this story somewhere....who else knows about it?
