ALL THIS TALK OF OLD N.O GIGS HAS GOT ME THINKING . WHAT IS THE STRANGEST VENUE YOU HAVE SEEN EM IN...HOME OR ABROAD...I HAVE NEVER VENTURED OVER THE WATER TO SEE EM ANYWHERE BUT BEEN TO PLENTY OF WILD VENUES IN THE U.K
THE STRANGEST WAS THE BARRY NOBLE OWNED ROXY CLUB IN SHEFFIELD...A REAL SEEDY NIGHTCLUB...HOWEVER A STONKING SET WITH DO THE OSTRICH AS ENCORE I THINK!!!
In front of hundreds of bemused onlookers at a nunnery in Stockton-on-Tees back in 1985.
But then I think I was pretty shitfaced that evening so i could be wrong.....

No, I'm not, I'm only saying Derby's very similar in some ways to Stockton-on-Tees, and Stockton-on-Tees - like any other medium-sized provincial town - is an absolute pisshole.... :D :D :D
