The latest on the goings on from the movie...
The movie is set for release on April 5 in the United Kingdom.
The tracklist for the soundtrack is still to be confirmed, but will definitely feature a brand new New Order track, 'Here to Stay', which has been produced by the Chemical Brothers. The soundtrack will be released on March 1.
'Here to Stay' will be released as a single on March 25. The video for this single will be shot in mid-February in London and will feature John Simm, who plays Bernard Sumner in the movie.
A word from the Producer (Andrew Eaton):
So here we are. We have nearly finished the film. Michael made some late final changes yesterday before last night's screening for the long-lead press. When he saw the first combined print at the lab earlier in the week he felt there were a few things he wanted to adjust. So then we had a mad panic to cut the print on a steenbeck before the screening at the Curzon Soho at 9pm. The screening was fantastic. The atmosphere beforehand was brilliant - lots of anticipation and the audience felt like they were completely in the story from the very beginning. The reactions we have been getting this morning (Friday) have been very positive. We still have to add on the new New Order/Chemical Brothers remix on the end titles, but apart from that the film is pretty much done. At last. More news soon.
