The first thing I HATE about iTunes is that Guilt is not available on the Canadian store...
And obviously, I can't buy it! I'm not able to register because I don't have a US address.. 
Stupid thing... I have no idea why they cut themselves from the world like that...
Can't buy it here in the UK either, online or otherwise Luckily I managed to grab the US promo CD with the full length mixes from Record Runner otherwise I'd never have heard this release.
This has definitively proven to me that Warners/London are just arseholes by repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot regarding New Order on two consecutive releases: releasing WFTSC on a dusty 1950s limited medium and GIAUE online only for the USA. It's like they're purposely trying to sabotage New Order as a band really 
As joked in another thread I expect Turn to only turn up on sheet music for 12 hours on the day of release plus "limited to 3 copies only".
Surely they must know only a niche market was ever going to buy the WFTSC seven inches or will buy the Guilt mixes off iTunes; it's a joke really! Anybody got any ideas why Warners are shafting New Order's chances to release proper records so much??
This is by far the worst New Order related artwork EVVERRR!!! Please...Mr. Saville....I pray that you had nothing to do with this cheapass, no effort, ugly, insulting peice of shit thing.
There is NOTHING...i repeat NOTHING good about this cover at ALL! Bad type, nasty colors, even worse image...
For a track that has such a great title....you'd think that there would be some thought put into this, instead of just recycling images from the WFTSC inlay.

Of course Saville had something to do with it, the bunny IS in the WFTSC album sleeve.
But the iTunes sleeve was done with it, but it was probably done in-house.

Being an I-Tunes customer, I was directed to their US store. It then said I couldn't have it because it was I wasn't a US-based customer! I could've told them that.
Warners do not seem to be capable of joined-up thinking on New Order. Admittedly the WFTSC seven-inchers were a novel marketing wheeze but the Guilt US release should at least be available to followers via a legal online service somehow.
This could play right into the hands of Kazaa and the like; it's likely now that the mixes will find their way onto file-sharing networks which could damage the revenue stream the band and Warners would make from the release. It could also boost those who are in the US and who will burn the mixes to CD and flog them on Ebay. Right now either the Kazaa etc way or the Ebay way are the only methods by which non-US followers will hear these mixes. The other way is if US-based followers here download them and share them by email with us...
Although my promo got lost in the mail (don't even ask me how they managed, they were sent by FedEx!), I still believe it's pretty stupid to limit this to US members only.
It will only increase piracy...
But that's iTunes.. I never got why they don't allow "imports".. like any record stores on Earth.

but seriously, someone should buy this shit, make a cd and sell it themselves. fuck warners. they deserve to be taken for the way they're taking all of us. (and put the wftsc mixes on the giaue disc... mmm... and let me know...)
So the U.K. gets an actual paper sleeve picturing a beautiful nude island woman bathing, and we get, lessee, a tiny blown-out JPEG of a rabbit.
We need nude women here too, you know.
The sentiment re: itunes is certainly shared here in the states as well...I recall only too well how I felt when the exclusive mixes of Krafty were released only on the UK itunes and I wasn't able to buy them...pissed me off really.
I've got a promo coming in the mail to me and I'll be happy to share with those outside of the US if Warner's doesn't make them commercially available to you all.
Speaking of iTunes, for some bizarre reason they have two versions of WFTSC for $9.90 each; the straight-up American version and then this mutation:

Alot of people here bag U2, but at least U2 look after their fans and especially here in Australia.
So far from their latest album "HTDAAB" they have released 4 singles in Australia, from those singles each have 3 single releases which include cd1, cd2 and a dvd single, thats 12 singles in all so far.
From those we get live versions, remixes, new tracks, video clips etc.
From the latest NO album, i have 2 cd singles! Hey i haven't even heard this Mac Quayle Mix of Guilt!
As for NO, not happy Jan! It's pretty hard for us NO fans and collectors such as myself to go and buy promos and overseas releases, in my younger years i could afford imports and all that sort of stuff, but these days when your paying off a house and have a family you literally can't afford these promo's on ebay , hey i don't even have Sirens'Call cd single or 7"ers.

U2 do not release thier really clubby mixes, except in very limited DJ promo's. I can never get em.

The only really clubby mixes u2 have made from the latest album were All Because Of you [Killahurtz Mix] & Vertigo [Redanka Power Mix] - both were released, the only others were Blinding Lights [2 mixes], 1 in which i actually managed to download, it's actually quite good, but it's still annoying that they don't release them comercially, one of the Blinding Lights singles only has 2 tracks on it, i can't see why they couldn't put the others on there as well.
Similar with NO, why we Aussies only get 1 cd single of each release, surely they could release a very limited cd2 edition with extra remixes to please the fans.

Well, I received my U.S. Promo CD today and I'm glad I did as these mixes may never receive a commercial release.
The mixes are bloody great, all have done this track justice imho. Not that this track needs any re-working, just an extended version would have been great for mine.

Looks like someone leaked the early version! Those are the working titles that appeared on the early promo.
