Do any of our UK colleagues know by any chance, whether or not 25th March is a bank holiday this year? Because if so, then, from past experience, New Order are going to be in serious trouble with this release.....
Just picked this up from 24 hour party people site;
The tracklist for the soundtrack is still to be confirmed, but will definitely feature a brand new New Order track, 'Here to Stay', which has been produced by the Chemical Brothers. The soundtrack will be released on March 1.
'Here to Stay' will be released as a single on March 25. The video for this single will be shot in mid-February in London and will feature John Simm, who plays Bernard Sumner in the movie.
March 1?? seems optimistic but would be excellent news if true.
Hubert, March 25 is not a UK Bank Hol.

The soundtrack to 24 Party People has got the potential to be quite classy but no doubt we will be treated to endless remixes of Order and Mondays songs which we already have.
Which would be a shame and a missed opportunity. The 12" of Knife Slits Water should be inflicted on the masses. :\pimp:

Mickey, The Order are also rumoured to be contributing 'Player In The League' to the soundtrack so 2 new tracks. Can't believe that's being mirrored by most bands from the era in question as the majority have split.So I guess you are right.
