Jewel covers BLT

When I was 'looking' for the Richard X remix, it said Jewel - Bizarre Love Triangle, but it could be wrong, of course.

I sure hope Jewel does not touch it! Seems like a stylistic mismatch
Tho ok Frente's stripping the song down to voice and acoustic guiatr really played up what a great melody BLT has.It is a a great cover because it took BLT in a totally different direction I had never considered. That direction was just fantastic. Great songs can be done in any number of styles & can work well.
and yes Frente's BLT is an all time favorite cover. I would love tp find a copy

I like Frente's cover too. I have the single. Let me know if you want a burn or mp3 of it.
On the Jewel cover, this site (http://www.isabelperez.com/songs/bizarre.htm) has the lyrics and it says by Jewel...it mentions that it is from a "VW Golf advert on TV"? Any one heard this? God help us. ![]()

frente cover blows. the video is also gross and pretentious.
but then so are some of the new order videos as well.

This claims to be the Jewel version. It is a video with audio of it.

Aye looks like it's true, just found many links on the net. Not sure I ever want to take a listen to that Jewel rubbish. On the other hand Frente's cover was quite alright. Never got to listen to the whole album but been told it's shite.
I saw the Frente record at the used CD shop the other day for $1. Should have bought it just to hear the rest of their stuff. I wouldn't imagine it being very good either. She kind of sings like a toddler.

there's a really cutesy Euro-pop version i've got by some outfit called Commercial Breakup. From a comp called Colette No. 2
Best Bizarre Love Triangle covers are by either Dance Upon Nothing, Days Of Fate or DJ DannyBoy.
But the all-time best one I've ever heard was a demo by a band called Re:Order. If anyone knows where I can find a full-length version, please let me know. Huge fan.
Frente! is rubbish, I agree. There are about 6 or so acoustic BLT covers and it's getting old fast.
