As no one spotted this in the technical forum, I thought I'd move it here.

Has anyone been able to access the A Collection website www.kinoteca.com ? This is the website we are referred to on the DVD but all I got was a logo and nothing to click. Now I'm getting some weird ass poem poem about a russian saving some lonely guy or something.

Has anyone been able to access this site. Ron was having the same problem as me.

I checked it when I receoved my DVD and got a whole lot of nothing. Perhaps its an "in joke" for the record company people. You know, "those whining New Order fuckers, we'll show them!"

Probably right. I dont know if a large corporate company could get away with that though - would the joke be worth the complaints? Factory maybe, but not Warner.

Shamberg is also building a Web site (www. kinoteca.net) that will contain his stories about the making of these videos as well as one special treat. “When I called Leos Carax” — the legendary French director of Les Amants du Pont-Neuf — “to do a video for ‘Crystal,’ he told me, ‘The video will be very cheap, but my fee will be very large,’” recalls Shamberg, who notes that Carax didn’t get the job. “Then one day he called and told me that he had gone ahead and made the video. It’s very funny, and it will be up on my Web site. It’s just him, his dog and his cat. It makes fun of music videos. At the end, his dog is sitting there with an erection.”

Filmmaker Magazine

Should be 'dot net', not 'dot com'.

Tried .net - thats where you get the logo. Has anyone seen this site?

Think it's pretty safe to say the .com site is an error that some Russky cybersquatter is taking advantage of.

The .net site is owned by Shamberg and still under construction. Sounds like it'll be worth a browse once it's running.
