GG's contribution to GR?

This has probably been discussed before and at the risk of being ridiculed (see another thread...) I'll ask anyway since I'm very very curious. Did Gillian contribute anything to Get Ready? Did she play one note? I would only assume she did work on Run Wild, right? And what is going to happen in the future? She probably had nothing to do with the Chemical Brothers single as well, right?

Anyway, I read dozens of interviews and articles about the time Get Ready was released and it really surprises me that she gets hardly any mention. I absolutely love Get Ready, but listening to trax like All Day Long and Guilty Partner really makes me realise what we miss nowadays. To me NO without GG isn't really NO. Her work to me is just as significant to a NO song than that bloody familiar bass everyone's keeps talking about.

apparently she doesnt play an active public part in the group anymore. Although and correct me if im wrong, but there has been no press statement issued to say she has officially left? I'd imagine she had something to do with some keyboards or production - help and advice even on Grrrready as she knows NO & the other 3 better than anyone else!!

There is a theory floating about that she sings on Someone Like You. It doesn't sound like her to me, but that is not to say that it isn't her.

The ony thing I saw in print about it was one review that confidently claimed that "she was completely ruled out of the recording process from day one", as she was looking after her youngest.

it does sound like her singing backing vox on SLY,this could have been one of the first ones they did for the album as the music has her signature aswell.had she been involved on all the songs it would probably have been a better balanced album
