Johnny Marr is playing, no chance of a few Electronic songs, but maybe the Smiths are reforming?

unlikely.

Not sure who has got the copyright to what now - but when Johnny Marr joined Neil Finn on a few dates on his tour (2001, I think) they performed 'There Is A light...' and 'How Soon Is Now?'

So you never know...

it doesn't matter if marr has the copyright or not (which no doubt he does have) - he can still perform the songs live and so can any of you if you choose to. copyright matters when distributing or publicly playing a recording, not for live performances.

"there's a light" is distributed on neil finn's "Seven Worlds Collide" cd and dvd.

"how soon is now" is not on those recordings.

Yeah, you're right. I knew that one of the songs wasn't on there, but I couldn't remember which one as I hadn't got the CD to hand (and my memory isn't what it was!) :)
