1. Yes it is true. In fact in the mid '80s Barney tried to start a huge international antidrug campaign. It was named Clean Until Next Thursday, this was in reference to Barney taking it one week at a time as compared to one day at a time. "If you can keep from using drugs for one week, you can make it for another week, you miserable bastard!" So when Barney called someone a cunt, it was really a compliment that the person was drug free.

2. Stephen actually believes that he is Marilyn Monroe entertaining the troops in Korea for the U.S.O. So he pretends that General Eisenhower is showing him around in a tank. If you notice in pictures that Stephen's hair is always messed up it's because he's trying to reenact the grate scene in the "Seven Year Itch".

That's all I can be bothered doing now, someone else want to finish and answer this concerned fan's questions?

3. Peter (Pieter !) Hook is indeed a russian spy and as such is bezzie mates with Antony Blunt & Guy Burgess and he drinks vodka redbull by the bucket load & he loves spuds

I think that Nic said he was working on a search engine when he talked about the improvements to the site. And you don't have to read every thread but check out the thread topics that go back a couple pages. If you're new to the board reading old threads will give you a sense of the personalities here and perhaps give you insight into who to ask questions of. And you may realize that not many people here take themselves too seriously. :)
