My fave song by NO? now that's well hard for me to say cos i like so many, but I think im gonna go for....love vigilantes. love the lyrics and the melodica and the bass n guitar riffs, and barney's little solo bit is the best bit for me.
I can play loooooaaads of NO songs, the only ones i can't play are the ones that have like little or no bass in, like world or ruined in a day etc... but I can play all the others really.
Awwww man my dad is so cool he said my band can start using our basement which is like done up and nice as a practise place!! woohoo! That's gonna be well good. Well as soon as we get a first gig opportunity I'll post it on here, hope to see you all there. Even you Campbell.
You've never had a northern irish heckler then?
We're very very good. Still best to start with a real challenge, in terms of kicking the legs out from under hecklers you've a tougher act to follow than even bassmanship.
Tell you what mate, a comfortable rehearsal space makes all the difference, doubly so if it happens to have a wee vocal PA for the singer. Beats the crap out of a bedroom/living room no matter how well specced :)
Well you know you've got ONE gig open to you...NOOLday.
But I can see a gobby wee bugger having no bass in the PA at his current rate of gobshitery :D:D
(Jack's sitting there thinking, "no worries, I think I know where I can put my hands on a bass amp that will lay waste to your PA paddy!")
Of course...someone Good might come along betwen now and then, and I can just get on with seeing how much trouble me and Jemma can cause ;)
PS: your selection of NO tracks you can play...LOL you , me, and every other bass player on this site :) (and yer also right about LV being a really classy bit of Barney)
EDIT: BTW I don't mean "ah you're shite, we can all play those" I mean, no one else bothers with Hookyless tracks either :D
