gee- I hope this JD movie soundtrack project thing doesnt get in the way of that next 'already in the can' album coming out...
I can see it now...the remaining unreleased tracks will become a NOOL fable for five years then start showing up on ebay for auctions starting at five thousand bucks.
can that band do two things at one time?

Probably not, at their age.
I don't see why it should be a problem. Lots of musicians work on multiple projects at once. Besides, I think it would be a good move to release the movie/soundtrack and the new album in the same year. They'd sell each other.

Hmm, i never thought of that, excellent observation there mate.
I doubt it...the supposed JD soundtrack for Control will come out the same time as the film, seeing as their not even casting till the spring...then it's not likely to get released well into 2007. So hopefully we should get the new New Order album in the summer or autumn of next year....fingers crossed.
