What NO song has been remixed the most?

Got to be BM.There was the whole Blue Monday remix cd (8+ ? mixes) that came with some copies of Rest Of for a start
I'd say probably "Blue Monday" or "Bizarre Love Triangle". However, I love hearing remixes of "True Faith", as long as it's a decent remix.
There should be no speculation here.
The correct answer is "Crystal".
I'd say there's at least 750 remixes out there. Most of which were done for a contest put on by Sonic Foundry, makers of the ACID mixing software (before they were sold off to Sony) The response generated probably shocked even them, enough so that it was linked to their front page.
As much of a masochist as I consider myself, even I haven't listened to most of these.
In order:
- True Faith
- Blue Monday
- Confusion
Those 3 are a LOT ahead of BLT in 4th place...
This is the amount of "version" of the track exisiting, not the exact amount of remixes though, but those are indeed the most remixed tracks.
Obviously, Crystal is due to the Acid Planet remix like The Happy One said, but I'd like to remind him that True Faith was also part of such contest (MixMan I think?) and, hum, Jetstream ;)

But can you produce 5 CD-Rs worth of MP3/WMA/RM remixes for "True Faith" or "Jetstream"?
I do remember the Mixman contest, as they had a booth up at Shoreline during the Area One 2001 event, and True Faith was one of the tracks you could play around with. But I don't remember whether they were making the user submissions available for downloads. As an aside, back when I used to work for an ISP, Mixman was one of our customers.
And do you have more information about Jetstream, or are you referring to the U-Mix software that was bundled with the single? Not sure if those submissions were available for download either.
So maybe we should rephrase the question to read, "What NO song has had the most officially released remixes?" because I think that's a more interesting question.

Well, it doesn't say remix per say, but what I gave higher is the 3 tracks with the most version of that tracks (edit, live, etc) on albums.
But it's easily True Faith, Blue Monday or Confusion... TF was released 3 times (87, 94, 2001), Blue Monday also 3 times (83, 88 and 95), but Confusion was released 4 times (83, 90, 95, 2002 + the substance version)
So in terms of various remixes (not counting edits), I'd probably bet for Confusion.... Blue Monday only had 1 remix until 1995 (not counting dj service remixes), but even if we count those, there were so many variations of the Pump Panel remix of Confusion, that I'm sure it'll win ;)
yeah those three have had quite a few diff singles out
the steir & morel remixes of TF, the streetwise 12" of confusion plus the pump panel & arthur baker mixes & blue mondays many mixes
all the singles off republic had a few mixes available too with 2 singles out for each
Excluding competitions, but including official and unofficial remixes (by private people not entering competitions) it has to be Blue Monday?
