On OFI Sunday there was a look-a-like thing. Robbie said that the guy looked more like 'Peter Hook'. Chris Evans: 'Who's he?' Robbie: 'A bassist'.
Robbie mentioned Hooky on TV last night

Chris Evans shoul've known who Hooky is. I remember him cosying up to Shaun Ryder on TFI Friday. That was a half decent programme for bands. Saw a bit of the first Sunday night programme. Absolute crap, shall not watch again. Probably someone who is better off on radio.

I assume they're referring to that fat dancer from Stoke, Robbie 'I ate all the pies' Williams. ![]()
RW often associated as being part of a Manc band. A real Manc has just won X Factor referred to as the next RW. Maybe Pete Frame could update Rock Family Trees.
yeah man I saw that.
comparing som e guy to Noel Edmunds.
but according to robbie. he mentioned Hooky!!!!
C Evens is still a W.....

It just brings home something I thought at the Hall of Fame thing: the fact that the individual members of New Order are still not that well known. I bet many of the people there that night wouldn't have been able to name the people who make-up NO.

think he's a bitbitter over the reading 98 comment?
Chris Evans has a tv show? I only found out today Noel Edmunds was back on tv. Teaches me for only watching 4 hours of tv over the last 12 weeks.
Given Chris is from Warrington (close to Salford) he should bloody well know who Hooky is!
Robbie has mucho respect for NO/JD. At the Brits (where he won 'best' song of the last 25 years) he ironically sang the line; 'love will tear us apart' at the end of 'Angels'.

It is. I used to watch it in France when I lived there January to April. I was like, they should bring this to England. Then yesterday, my mum goes have you seen this tv program and voila, there it was, an english version. :D

Stephen Duffy has said in an interview that one of the reasons he decided to work with RW was his in-depth knowledge of NO/JD.
Chris Evans doesn't know who Peter Hook is?
