Jeremy.... dont even go there!!!!
I had exactly the same problem, attempted to record the stream thru my stereo but my poxy 56k modem on my laptop wasnt up to the job and it buffered like crazy and to top it all of the bloody minidisc didnt even record it all :(
So if anyone know if its archived anywhere or got it recorded themselves it would be much appreciated :D

Which cool edit do you use? Mind does not record live stream, and I want to!
I have cool edit 2000.
Under options, you can select Timed Record. Just hit the record button and you can schedule for how long (say 2 hours) or you can select day/time to record. It'd be great if Real Audio cooperated!

Just in case I did not answer your question . . .
You should be able to record live stream. That's one of the main reasons I bought Cool Edit was the ability to record webcasts.
Under Options, click on Window Mixer. A screen called "Volume Control" will pop up. Click on Options and then Properties.
Click on Recording and then OK. The Record Control will pop up and I click the little box at the bottom of Stereo Mix. Then you hit the record button and you're recording!
