Bernard's got a yacht, we've got hearts. Let's select a few chosen off NOOL to sail with Bernard on a special journey around the world. :thumb:

Nic, help this idea become a real nightmare!

maya can't go....

  1. we'd miss her

Would ya really want to go navigate the ocean with someone who can't remember the lyrics to his own songs? :ignore:

Err...yes? Anyway he's got his skipper's licence so he must be competent...

I really think I should go.

I have done some novice sailing, but what I really excel at is lying in the sun drinking gin.

I would have a preference for the south pacific, but would make do with the caribbean if I have to.

When are we going?

Funny enough by complete chance i bumped into bernard at the Boat show in 2002 he was looking to buy a new one. he was with his partner who was very heavily pregnant. he seemed to recognise me as we had followed the group to the states and all round europe that summer. I think he said this is one of the stalkers to his girlfriend Sarah who seemed very nice. He asked what I was buying and we talked boats for a bit. i said that i was looking at a new engine for my small boat but it would depend if they had any further tours on as to whether i could aford a new one. he laughed a little and made his excuses. anyway the next time i saw him to speak to was in france this year in Normandy we crashed the press conference. he took one look at me and unprompted said i bought that boat. we then mithered him to play everythings gone green and much to our surprise they did. Anyway he is a top bloke with a good sense of piss taking humour in my opinion. at the last Manchester gig he was happy to have his picture taken with my mate Mr Grubb whom Hooky had earlier dedicated ceremony and his amps to the memory of his late brother Phil. We will all be up in manc land again in a couple of weeks I think it may be my fiftieth gig or very close. Not bad for a part timer Mr Jarvis. Stay up Pompey

I would love to, but hopefully I don't get seasick or anything.
