just returned from a quick jaunt to the resale shop....and what did I lift from this little place today?????

Of course, those were all 12" singles....

I also snagged the 81-82 EP...a 7" single of EGG and Procession (made in Portugal, no less), and lastly....what very much appears to be a concert type album, labeled as Blue Mondays, and the listing makes me think that it is the 1985 Tokyo gig....

and I got every last one of them for 50 cents each...jeez...it feels just like Christmas again....actually, I think it's better....

I got LWTUA 12 inch Saturday for $15, though I really wanted the Holiday in the Sun 7 inch the store had for $20. Oh well, I get paid today.....

it was just a little resale shop in Mesquite...not like they had ever had anything this good there before, and they probably never will again...I go to a couple of them every now and then, basically seeking out affordable (cheap) red shirts, that I need for work...but always end up checking out everything else they have...just got REALLY lucky this time!!!!

I wonder if its the case that since the advent of cheap cd writers more and more people are getting rarish stuff on cd bootlegs, or burning their old cd singles to cdr and flogging the originals? Thus increasing the supply of previously rare stuff.

Alternatively, New Order fans are getting on a bit now and some of us are probably dying off leaving the greiving relatives to flog off all our pointlessly accumulated treasured tat.

I only wonder because after looking fruitlessly for certain hard to find cd singles for years I now notice half a dozen at a time turning up on ebay.
