Found 'em...

Enter 'Fabric' in the venue box, then 'search'

Only thing thats confusing is that it's got 2 different line ups on the same night...I've sent 'em off an email to find out

Sounds cool but Monday! What a daft day to host such events - perhaps i feel a mysterious bug coming on might need a day off work....

Good spot Seb.

Just spoken with Fabric. This is part of a Radio 1 sponsored DJ night which in turn is part of the bigger World DJ Day.

During this Radio 1 night there will be a 2 hour segment in Room 3 where various invited guests including New Order, Arthur Baker and Bez will play 1 track of their choosing, each.

The geezer I spoke with said the 3 acts above are confirmed.

The show starts at 9pm & runs to 3am.

Tickets available through Ticketmaster or www.fabriclondon.com

After re-reading it I sort of got the idea they played one record of their choice....am I being a bit optimistic in thinking London's a very long way to put on one record though...there's no cheeky live date anywhere by chance?

it says the above djs playing their all time favourite 7" or 12" record- as there are four (three?) members will that be one each or will it be a case of hooky gets the record out of the sleeve, barney puts it on the deck & steve puts the stylus in the right place?

& what if they all have the same favourite?

soulwax also there along with bez & more tba....

Kezzie, I'm hoping to meet you at the Manc trawl as well - seeing as we've both been attacked by flying Mullets at Newcastle Mayfair club at some previous point in our lives......does that mean we're blessed? (see my reply on the "sausage rolls" thread, heh heh....)

Nice one Huberto:) Look forward to swapping tales of terrorising metallers at Little Jeff's 'Rock' Disco and falling over in the Riverside (coz that's what I seemed to do there most of the times I went there) ;)

Got it sorted, and will be there, missus (look for someone 6ftish short dark hair with bird 5ft3ish blonde) in tow tonight. Bad news is all the recent promo stuff I've seen has made no mention of the Order...I.E. the bastards probably won't show. Oh well, have to stick listening to Emerson, Lottie and even Pete tong instead.

I'll keep my eye out for any NOonliners in there. Also got to work tomorrow - after about 4 hours sleep..can't wait for that...

Apologies for late notice of a meet but in case anyone sees this before they venture out....

Going for a drink with Allen Jarvis from 8.30pm onwards in a pub called the ..wait for it..'Something Castle', we don't know the first bit of the name, but it's easy to identify if you follow this;

Turn left out of Farringdon tube, big boozer opposite you on corner of Cowcross St & Turnmills St.

Anyone who's around is more than welcome to join us.
