So Predictable.....sigh.....

So there we are then - London Records have gone and done EXACTLY as I suspected they would - put back the release of Here To Stay so that it clashes with other bank holiday releases (is April 1 a bank holiday then? I can't seem to remember , though I suspect it is...).

Then again, it could be the record company's idea of an April Fool's joke. If it is, then I don't find it very funny. What the fuck are they playing at? This constant game of delaying NO releases and choosing the busiest weeks instead to unleash them - you'd think these wankers would choose a quieter week so the record stands a better chance chartwise, but no - they insist on pulling the same stunt again and again. What's the reason this time? They've had trouble with the artwork? The CD mastering isn't up to scratch? I'll bet. It's almost certain they're gonna fuck everything up once again....bastards. Why must we be kept waiting just for those shitehawks to get their fucking act together?

Well that's fantastic! Savvy business thinking on London's part, eh? Makes me wonder if perhaps they're giving NO not-so-subtle hints about their value to the company. It's like going to work and being told at the last minute that you've been resecheduled, then coming in again and being rescheduled and so on and so on.....That's it, New Order should jump ship and seek another label, if only to put out a few more singles before the rot sets in.

Some might say the rot has already begun to set in....

But this kind of constant malarkey on THEIR part really does make my blood boil after a point - I mean, they did it with Get Ready, 60mph, now they're doing the same here - do they honestly seriously think New Order would stand any chance with all those shitty little garage/r'n'b/pappy boy band/nu-metal cack that this record will now be up against? Do they have any idea at all? Does Pete Pong have any fooking clue at all? Maybe they should just go the whole hog, fuck the whole thing off, drop New Order, delete Get Ready from further pressings and just issue another hastily cobbled together posthumous best-of compilation entitled "Sabotage - The Best Of New Order" - and then do the great honour of leaving said song off the tracklist. Typical. What a bunch of fucking twats.

Oh well, that's great news isn't it? But then what did we expect? You know, i do believe one day London Records will really surprise us all and actually get something right regarding their attitude with New Order....but I don't think I'll hold my breath. :(

If , after all this malarkey from the delayed release date, "Here To Stay" goes top five, I will post a naked portrait of myself up onto my fanclub profile.

There.....can't say fairer than that....
