sort of a variation of a line from the Velvets "Sister Ray" maybe, which JD/ NO have covered live a few times... maybe "Sister Ray" was on Bernard's mind at the time

It does sound like something from Sister Ray but it must be the Face Up quote in the first response.

"Her hair was long, her eyes were blue, guess what I'm going to do to you" -> "Her eyes were brown, her hair was long, guess what I'm going to with my ding-dong".

Still a great quote.
