Just want to put a request in for the neworder 12x12" to be released on longplay CD - my bet it would be between a three to four disc set - Pahhleeeze - Warners i hope your listening! I am sure that there are others that would love to have this in their collection too.

i kinda suspect that anyone here would only want the tracks that aren't available anywhere else...
we've already had about 6 best of cd compilations in the past couple of years (or so it seems)
like you say it'd be a big set, and most of these tracks are actually available already on CD...
its just the new and exclusive stuff that people really want (and are complaining that they are only being released on vinyl)
yeah i'd love to see it on CD (i'd buy it for sure, more so than the vinyl) but it can't see it happening, this i susepct is a vinyl only release for a reason...(and not just to make more money) :)

maybe something like 'the rest of' part 2..but it would have to be 2 discs or so..
i don't know how well 'the rest of' sold...so i don't know if it would be worthwhile to release another cd with just remixes on it..
i plan to get a lot of the vinyl myself and make my own cd since i have the capability, but i don't know if others have the time or patience.

-1 MUST you advertise eBay promo links on Digital Republic so regularly? I mean it's hardly like you're the seller! Some of us are watching these with a view to bidding and it doesn't help that the links are constantly thrown up here for the entire world to see.
You've probably just added 30-40 quid to the final bid price of these promos unnecessarily, nice one!
i figure everybody checks ebay anyways, so there's no harm in posting the link..
besides i try not to get caught up in those bidding wars..so it really doesn't matter to me who knows about it..
plenty of other people post links to ebay items (see 'mesh' thread)..i don't see any complaints about those..
besides, i was just trying to answer the original posters query for the possibility of finding these tracks on cd..

C'mon Ally, it's public domain, there isn't much you can do about it... as you know, I'm happy to actually know about these for the discography etc... ;)

Well i for one think its good that someone has highlighted the fact that some mixes have surfaced up on promo cdr's. Nice to be told this & it helps the 'master' discography. Ally we all know you & Nick like these goodies! thats why its not even worth bidding
if no-one hadn't told us about that rare rehersal tape last week we would have been none the wiser

The first one is legit, but it does contain only clips of those sounds.. the guy doing the 12x12" told me it was the only CD promo they got...

I was just having a minor hissy fit, ignore it :)
It is getting boring having to shell out for endless remixes. I mean I like remixes but it's getting beyond a joke now. These promos are most likely going to go for a very large amount and I'm still on the fence as to whether I can be bothered taking the hit cash-wise.
I've also heard a rumour these promos may not be legit either but that's unconfirmed. They certainly look the real deal and obviously contain the new mixes so I'd wager they are genuine. That's the problem with CDR promos on eBay, you never can completely tell.

(BTW, in reality, that promo didn't cost me any money, as I've just sold 3 items for the grand total of 150 quid - pays for the promo and the 12 x 12" mixes - wa-hey!

Well, the lady responsible for New Order at London Records told me "I'm getting someone to check for one round here, but I've not seen one."
So if she didn't see one... it seriously must be fake.. and that was for the "Classic Remixes" one, not the previous one where she replied she never heard of it before.
And she's the one sending me promo !
Although, there is a slight chance it MIGHT be real, the WFTSC "Planet Funk" remixes were released via another department... but I never asked that woman if she had any though.

Anyway, agree with those that say we should have these (unreleased) mixes on CD, rather than forking out lots of cash for promos (of which the band, remixers, and record company, receiver absolutely bugger all cash)... 
I'll still buy the vinyl, as I've got a record player (they're not that expensive!), but prefer CD's so that you can burn them onto an iPOD/computer and they don't get scratched (well, if you keep them protected - i.e. burn it onto a blank CDR and use that). Vinyl is still nice to have, and (so some say) sound better than CD's, but I prefer CD's for their crisp, sound quality.
So, the only mix I won't have on CD now is the Filterheadz mix of WFTSC - ah well, you can't have it all! :)
