1.Hooky's solo at Brixton 2001, truly amazing, he played for about 5mins right at the end and went through some old classics.
2.Hooky gave me a big bear hug at the Sydney signing (Hum records). The reason why is a secret never to be told! Bribes in the post please 
The first time I heard The Perfect Kiss live.....it was called I've Got A Cock Like The M1 at the time. I think I preferred the lyrics then as well.
My most memorable New Order moment is seeing them in Brixton Academy '83 - Doing that Divine love reaction cover/cover 
wot a hoot. We waited till 11pm for New order to come on. Many a girl was rescued from beneath the throng, heavy overcoats were a pre-requisite in them grey old days 
The beginning of Decades at the Festival Hall (same gig as Old Blue's recollection). As soon as we realised what they were doing, the roof nearly came off ! Still sends a shiver up my spine today.

I have to agree with that Hooky's solo in Friday's night, really amazing!
And in Thursday's night at Brixton I remember Bernard saying: "This is a song... My favorite song, actually. Atmosphere". Unforgettable.

hooky's solo in brixton 12th oct as well... finished off a brilliant week for me in london + 3 excellent gigs!

Worst - When my sister told me that she had been to Rome with New Order
seeing Bernard and his girlfriend snogging in the street was quite disturbing for me. It was Valentine's weekend and they were with Keith Allen. Not very romantic.

was a truly memorable gig shirt off slamming stuff

I was there too, Festival hall May '84. It went "I've got a cock like the M1, it's long and thin with a white line down it". Not sure I preferred the original lyrics, 'though.

Yep, still sends a shiver down my spine too when I listen to the bass intro on the boot. That gig had everything, EGG seguing into Temptation, Perfect Kiss debut, Decades, a worthy cause, and a whole reel of film taken when a few of us were allowed down the front. Unbelievable.
I saw the later gigs (Technique and Republic tours), which by that point they all hated each other, and the shows were in America, so they don't feature any particularly standout moments. The best for me was my first NO show when I got to the arena and saw their gear on the stage and thought, "holy shit, I'm in the same building as New Order!"

Vanishing Point at the G-MEX 88(?) or so ...memories not what it used to be.Just superb LIVE and will always remian a great moment for me.

I can remember the feeling of disbelief as they came on stage at my first gig - Apollo98 - I was about to witness what I thought I would only dream of ... then they crashed straight into Regret. Sweet Jesus, that was goooood! :D:D:D

Agreed.Absolutely cracking finale to a brilliant gig.I was just getting my coat when they came back on,sweated my bollocks off during the encore!I'll say it again though G-Mex '86,Mac singing Ceremony my highlight. Also the much maligned Glastonbury '87.The fucking wait,all bloody day in a field.Last mad rush to get to the front and the Bastards start off with Elegia just to be awkward.The official release of this does it no justice I remember it as a great gig though the alcohol and class A's may have something to do with this.
