I am watching a fucking awesome program at the minute called (OSM)"Other Side OF Midnight" with Tony W, its the party edition, the last one I think. Can anyone remember when this cool program was first broadcast on our tv screens ? Does anyone remember the party edition as I would like to know who the opening band was Somebody (Cool As) ?? I dont know! A Guy Called Gerald Happy Mondays ect. I would like to see more of these programs if anybody has any full episodes could you give me a shout. "Im not fishing for (the happy one) as i already have a copy of this.

Is that the one where some bird in a bikini gets her paps out but they blur it, I vaguely remeber that one i was drinking very heavy at the time, it was around 1990 - 92 hooky apeared on one episode playing the happy one which I think is on here somewhere.

I dont have any recordings of it but it was a bloody good program, even though wilson was at his most pretentious.

T-Coy - 'Carino'

they featured Mike Pickering in the line-up and Simon Topping (ACR and, just once, Joy Division) playing the congas.

not too sure, I think tracks will have appeared on various early Deconstruction compilation CDs. The one with a picture of the queue at the Hacienda on the sleeve comes to mind for one.

It was 88/89, wasn't it? Think the 'party' one was the summer of 89 maybe, Hooky was early 89, and the Mondays doing Performance was at the arse-end of 88. They also had the Roses on there. Can't remember what they did though. Maybe Waterfall?

The party one is class. Lots of people dancing in a room with cameras being shoved in their face. Weren't the Mondays without Bez for some reason?

That sounds like the 1990 Warehouse Party:

T-Coy - Cariño A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray Happy Mondays - Mad Cyril, WFL

Just bought this from a bloke off ebay... Does anyone have the episode of OSM which features Gerald playing Voodoo Ray beside a pool (Victoria Baths 'Wet' Hacienda rave) and the very first performance of Pacific? It was broadcast in November 1988 - been trying to find a copy of that for yonks...

Oh yeah, and for those trivia fans, Annette's "Dream 17" was T-Coy (Mike Pickering, Simon Topping, Ritchie Close) + A Guy Called Gerald - big hac tune at the time...

Well, I am fishing for a decent broadcast copy of the Happy One on DVD - it's a much better version than the one on the Excerpts CD. Anyone?

Is this the Factory compilation on Ebay?
