"X" i think is the official title. But it may be called simply 'New Order Music 1981-1989'.Published by Warner Chappell. This is the front cover.

And that song book is supposed to be full of inaccuracies.
'1963' could be a ghost story. The music video should've been a Henry James spoof, instead of that half-baked thing they did with the girl and the suitcase.

Oi, that's Jane Horrocks (AbFab) as the girl with the suitcase! :)
And, yeah, I did post some text underneath the scan of the page - Barney was clearly talking bollocks! ![]()
Yeah, I know she's famous in Britain, but here in Massachusetts, USA, I'd not heard of her before reading the Collection booklet.

what needs a sticky post? surely not this thread? stick around long enough and you'll see this topic come up every few months. however, it's hardly 'sticky post' material. just your basic NO question.

and on the 8th (which happened to be a Thursday at the beginning of February) god got in a bad mood and vested power in the moderators to be excessively harsh on sarcy bastards.

No worries - just kidding! :)

Time to put this one in the sites FAQ, eh Spotnik?

um, yeah. as i said earlier, this should probably be deleted as it's physically impossible. unless JFK was a necrophiliac. where did this 'theory' come from, anyway? did barney just pull it out of his ass without any forethought? ok, i know the answer to that.
Maybe Bernard was playing with the theory and used some artistic license with the dates, just to confuse us obsessives!

maybe bernard just didn't know his history.
Yeah, or maybe Barney decided he wanted to confuse NO fans to the end of time and then thought: "I know! I'll write 1963!"

I'm not making that up. On the old neworderweb.com board, that's what they all said 1963 was about.
