Yeah, I'm quite proud I was the very first one to react on this forum about TOTP...

One question though...

Was it really live ? I mean, NO are supposed to play live on TOTP. But, these female backing vocals and stuff ?

Well, if it was live, that makes me thing of a thing I find disturbing with NO. Why do they used so much prerecorded things in their live performances ?

I guess they can't play everything themselves... But there's certain things that they could take away for the credibility of the live perfomance, as the female backing vocals on "Crystal" or "World" for instance...

Bit disappointing,then again it is TOTP.

It was a total piss take. Had to have been, Barney didnt even "mime" any chords, the keyboards were set up, and GILLIAN WASNT THERE!

It was quite funny, almost like the video.

They looked cheesed!!! However Hooky I thought was as mobile as ever, and Barney started the song well with a "barn" dance, jig and jump, but all went down hill from there. I agree, the ending was shocking.

Personally I think it is down to the producers of the show and perhaps London records whether they think the live sound would do justice to the record sales. Coporate crap I'm afraid especially when they ARE so good live. :(

Did someone tape that scandal so that we all can see it right here ???

It was great seeing them, even if the did mime..... and Gillian was missing :( Still, its just great to see them performing again... barney looked animated, and Hooky was as mad as ever... and he was wearing a hooded top, and i didnt think he looked TOO bad! lol The biggest bummer for me was the crap cameras at TOTP, shots of Barney and the odd look at Hooky, but poor old Steve might as well have not been there...he didnt even get a look in.... poor sod...

ah well, it just confirms my opinion that TOTP is a bag of shite...always was and always will be...
