Album Fillers

What album tracks do you commonly find yourself skipping and class as "album fillers" ?

C'mon be honest, there must be some that havent listened to for ages!!

Some might say Grrready has more than most.. *ahhem!* ;)

Sunrise Paradise the him We All Stand Glass I Remember Nothing Everyone Everywhere 60 Mph

Taboo #7 your first two choices will im sure surprise many! they surpised me!!!

everyone everywhere liar chemical fine time 586 world perfect kiss (because it clutters up lowlife)

Everything after the 1st track on movement Ditto PC&L Subculture Every Second Counts Mr Disco Everyone Everywhere That rapping one. Rock The Shlong Slope Jab

Republic - the whole things a bloody filler

The only track that I ever listen to on Movement is 'Chosen Time'. I listen to everything on P,C&L, apart from The Village and Ultraviolence. Everything on Low-Life is good, but I often skip through Elegia. I hardly ever listen to Brotherhood. Although, I sometimes play 'Every Little Counts' to my mates for a joke. On Technique I listen to everything. On Republic I skip through Special and Chemical. I hardly ever listen to Get Ready, not because it's bad, it just doesn't feel like a proper NewOrder album to me and the only track I like is Crystal to be honest.

OK lets see:

Movement - When I listen to it what's no very often, I listen it all. It's just a hard thing you have to do when you like so much NO.

PCL - I often sip We All Stand and Ultraviolence Low Life - Elegia and Sunrise Brotherhood - I love it all Techinique - Sorry but I skip Guilty Partner. Republic - It's amazing how HOOK's bass is so far away from the songs but Regret. It's a hard listening for me. It seems that's a Barney's solo album because his voice is so good here. Get Ready - I skip Someone Like You and yes I like very much Slow Jam.

But the real thing is I prefer listening to any NO song instead of the shit playing on the radio all the time. Exception for BLT remix on The Rest Of.

Movememnt - Track 5 & 7 (the him is brilliant as is chosen time and dreams never end)

PCL - We All Stand (but the Pumped full of drugs version rules, kinda velvet underground like, dont know if anyone else sees it)

LL - Umm, if anything at all at any time, Face Up, a little cheesy. But I still like it so nothing really.

Brotherhood - State of The Nation

Technique - Fine time is sometimes skipped

Republic - usually only listen to tracks like special and regret. No real definite skip though

GR - Slow Jam, Run Wild

Sunrise, isn't that one of the best n.o. tracks ever!!

Always thought so anyway, apart from that daft bell at the end of the track.

Shrugzy mate, im getting the ole BlueMonday syndrome on Perfect Kiss to be honest!!! Actually if i leave it on for more than 30seconds you can guarentee it will get played right thru, but.. the opening synth and drums are really starting to get on my tits now! (watching the video is a different story of course ;) )

Substance - That damn dance mix of BLT (Where's Peter??) Technique - Fine Time Republic - That was a New Order LP? Could've fooled me!!! Get Ready - Those are a bunch of fine lads and a las!!!!! Good stuff here, although "Crystal" is beginning to wear thin on the nerves.

The two worst albums for fillers are the most recent two: Republic and Get Ready. Only reason because the previous albums never had more than 8 or 9 tracks so were quite short anyway. Republic could do with seven tracks erased altogether and it would make a good EP. (Regret, World, EE, Chemical) Get Ready needs a further three tracks to make it a worthwile return after such a long absence: then once that was achieved, delete half of them just for the hell of it! Starting with Someone Like You, Run Wild, 60mph, Rock The Shack, Behind Closed Doors and Vicious Streak.

All of us have something that we like less than love, but pleasw, don't you prefer any NO song than the shit on the fucking radio? I love all NO songs. Exception for BLT in the Rest Of. IIs it a NO song or just samples of it?
