I've still never heard any of Arcade Fire's stuff. But I thought that was alright.
Reminds me of masel, many a night spent wandering home from the local singing neworder songs.....no instruments were ever involved though and no animals were ever harmed.

They do Age of Consent live and they did LWTUA with U2 in Montreal last November.

The Arcade Fire seems like a bunch of nice people with very good musical tastes indeed. Even though they opened for U2 (and I really dont like Bono and the rest of his band).

I prefer the Arcade Fire to them. And yeah, I think U2 sucks. But it's just my point of view. Who cares?

Certainly. Cracking album and one of the best bands i saw last summer. And i saw a few bands.
Arcade Fire are quality!
Feel very proud to say i had their AMAZING album Funeral months before they got big over here, so i looked really cool when they got big and i already knew them. it was thanks to some great contact in the US.

Idiot band? Have you ever heard any of their songs? They are far from an idiot band. I'm sick of all the moaning about bands covering NO. I dont hear any of yers getting in such a state over the whole Community thing, which is basically the same thing.
They're great, and they clearly love the Order, so that's more brownie points for them. Wish they'd played their version of AoC at Barca last year, tho!
Check out 'No Cars Go' on the ep brought out before Funeral...these guys are an original master, they've got their imitators already. And they think all the hype about them is just bs so they'll go far I reckon!
