I see Manchesters Council are thinking of selling one of their Lowry paintings for something in the region of £500,000 to get rid of some of their debts. I read somewhere Barney has a few of these originals -I'm sure he unscrewed the bottle of pernod when he seen what his paintings are now valued at. Maybe he could sell them and buy 500 new guitars (or hire someone to write some new decent songs - only joking)

price usually increases with scarcity. if there are more available, then the price will usually fall. this is a simple economic rule.
