BAND ON THE WALL...MANCHESTER

ANYBODY EVER BEEN TO THIS VENUE....AS IM GOING TO SEE ACR ON 31 MAR...IS IT A GOOD VENUE???

Well it can't be very big, if Joy Div played there during the "three men and a dog" days.

A mate of mine called Richard now lives just outside Manchester with his family, so he knows a lot about the venues in the area - apparently he goes to Band On The Wall quite often and says it is Manchester's answer to Ronnie Scotts (true!) - not too big a venue by sound of it, catering for mostly jazz/world music. So it looks like ACR now sort of appeal to that kind of crowd.

I'm there too, it's gonna be a messy all-dayer and it's on till 2!!!
