Nope. Hardly ever play New Order choons. Just got an ipod in the past month though and I appear to have been caning that Paul Haig Atmosphere on the Most Played but, and also the Missy Elliott vs LWTUA mash-up.
Well...Friday was going to be a non-new order day for me...
I listened to a Chembros CD on the way to work...
Crystal Method on the the way home from work...
Then we go to the local to meet a friend of ours who drove in from Waco, we sit down in our booth...and I'll be damned if WFTSC doesn't come over the speakers...
I can't escape the lads...even when I try!
Crystal Method on the the way home from work...
Jeff, can you recommend any Crystal Method CD's?
Watching NO vids on the ipod on the train..in 1st Class.

Pretty much everyday. I filled my 1 GB mps player with at least 11 NO bootlegs and Doves Some Cities plus She Wants Revenge. Usually listen to it when going to and fro work.
Last night went to my computer guru's house and listened to the Beatles while drinking homebrew. Mein Gut, Strawberry Fields came on like 3 times. This guy has a pc dedicated to music, something like 16K in songs. But Strawberry Feilds Repeating too many times.
It's very dependent on my mood, really. Sometimes I'll go a couple of weeks without consciously playing a NO track.
As I only have a tape player in the car and stopped buying tapes years ago, I am fairly limited in what I can play in there (can't be bothered to connect up my i-Pod unless the journey's a few hours or so), and since much of what I used to own on tape is crap, the NO and JD stuff gets played pretty regularly, but I like to listen to something different evry day, so once I've been through all the albums I tend to have a few days off and go back to something completely random... Yesterday it was Sisters Of Mercy - Floodland... Goth-tastic... (although that probably should go on the Guilty Pleasures thread on BCD)...

Usually about one track a day.
I don't really have much of a choice to be honest, at least lately ![]()
I have to listen to all the Community 2 songs ;)
But in normal times, I do play my music random, and there is some New Order in there, so if it plays, it plays.. but I don't force it.
It varies. If I'm on a train for hours, as I have been several times this week, then I will listen to quite a lot. Otherwise it depends whether I am copying CDs for people, they always get listened to when copied. I probably listen to a lot more other music than NO these days though.
This week's train listening has been:
NO Ayr 1983 Wedding Present US 1990 Oasis US 1995 Manics Milton Keynes 1993 Radiohead NYC 1998 Libertines Sheffield 2002 JD Lyceum 1980 JD Hemel 1979

if not actively playing a track or whatnot-which varies in frequency- often find that mostly older -JD-tunes will be playing through my mind.
:egg:
I had a lapse of about 1 month in the mid 90's when I never listened to NO but I pretty much listen to them on a daily basis.
Oh, yeah! I have the CD Unknown Pleasures, and New Order Podcasts and other downloads on iTunes. NO is practically the only thing I listen to for the most part.
Just about every day for more than 10 years...I do listen to other stuff...but I've gotta have my daily dose :)
god no!
last fm shows they are my most listened to on the pc though with 854 plays, ahead of hope of the states on 377 & rilo kiley on 320 but then there are more tracks by them on my pc than anyone else so if its on random they have more chance
last night i listened to blueneck, have new stuff from black box recorder, calexico, giant drag, iliketrains & the dance to the radi comp that forward russia put out to listen to next
maybe 3-4 days a week. usually when i'm in the car and they come up on the CD changer, sometimes when i'm on the computer.

go to the address on the bottom right corner of the recently played list: www.denness.net/sigs/.
It happens. If not a direct NO song, then a side project song or some related song. Though, I almost went yesterday without hearing any songs, then when I turned on a local college station - lo, there was Turn.
