Hi folks

Seeing as Turn's release as a single has been postponed due to the 12 x 12 releases, is there a date known for when it might actually be released?

On another point, they might miss the boat for the summer's fests to promote the new album as most of the biggies have announced their line-ups and have consequently sold out.

The Al-sticks-his-neck-out bit:

I'd reckon, therefore, they'll finish the album in the next two months, Turn will be released in May and the new album might appear in October. Gigs would then follow in November and December.

What say you?

i say you're being a bit englandcentric. there are hundreds of festivals with line ups to be announced http://www.i-muzzik.net/ lists them (sites in french, but click on festivals for handy guide)

I'm willing to bet we won't even see a new single off the next album this year, let alone the album itself....

As for 'Turn', I'd say another month or two...

Just a hunch.

I had no wish to appear Anglo-centric but the biggies here (Reading, the V fests, Eden project etc) are now confirmed with big names appearing so they'ver probably missed the boat for those. The likes of the Wireless fest are on-sale now.

They might be thinking of the likes of Coachella again as well even further afield but it would unusual for them not to play at least one 'big' UK date.

What makes you say that we won't see a single from the new album this year? It's still only March!

Because they're apparently nowhere near finishing it yet! :)

I asked hooky after his dj set the other night and he basically said he had no idea.
