Now i've heard the story behind Hooky's "accidental" leaving of a box of tapes in his rehearsal studio but how many shows were there in total???

So far i have 8 out of ten from those you mentioned. I'm only missing Rennes 85 and Chigaco 89. However i also have Tolworth 83, Tokyo 85 and Detroit 89.

Ah yes, Tokyo and Detroit, had forgotten them. Tolworth wasn't part of this batch, that recording has been around for donkey's years.

Had a look at the info file again and it says: "Source: Band-leaked mixing desk recording" where as the other clearly mention the ATR stash. Still, i'm missing 2 shows from that batch... anyone up for an FTP trade??? Got loads to swap

Weren't Atlanta 1985 and Leuven 1985 (in full) a part of the pile as well?

No, ATR had already got Atlanta (but was listing it as Aus/NZ 85), and Leuven was totally separate, and had been around for years.

there was also a tape of Technique 'demos'/'outtakes' that haven't yet been circulated.

Just to clarify, it is not stash as in a hidden treasure trove. ATR is Stash, one person two (or more) names, Red scum comes to mind:D .

Central London Poly was not in the 'Stash' AFAIK, It came from N**l D****n who now resides in New York, who's friends 'aqquired' it from the mixing desk at the end of the gig. Also, I thought that Leuven WAS part of the 'stash', the version that had been doing the rounds was shorter in length wasn't it?

I thought Neil's CLP was the one that ended after 8 tracks? ATR had got the full one around the same time as these others surfaced. The key with these is that most of them were the tapes used to determine what went on Retro's live disc. This makes me wonder about Tolworth again now, thinking about that, as this was also on Retro 4.

The full Leuven soundboard has been available for twenty years! There was also an FM version of the full set, and the video sound feed, that had a couple of tracks missing.

On the batch that went to David Sultan, there was also a Hacienda 83 soundboard that didn't find its way to the ATR pile, an unidentified US 89 show "D" that may well have been Detroit, and some demos from Technique that have also not surfaced.
