On 14th April, the film 'Glastonbury' will be released, and (according to the recent issue of Showreel - a film magazine):

"we chose music that represents the style of the different periods, for example T Rex at the first festival in 1970, New Order in the 1980s, and Blur and Chemical Brothers in 1990s."

So, we might at least get one song (probably from 1993?) in the film, although the film sounds entertaining enough anyway! :)

There is some blurb on the Glastonbury site here.

You'd be lucky with a song from 1993!

Probably be 1987 if they are talking about appearances in the 80's or do they look on Norder as an eighties band? 1987 was filmed professionally and by amateur.

Trailer on the Pathe site looks good.:thumb:

It's got Coldplay on it.

What a pity, I wouldn't have minded seeing that film.

Ahh well...

this sounds infinitely more appealing than the woodstock film. i may have to give it a look-see.

Good point, it did say the 1980s, so that would rule out 1993 - doh, it would help if I read what I type!
