Glad I'm not the only to have spotted that. For years its bugged me whether it was completely intentional.

yeah i noticed that too..in the last few bars,bernard or gillian is playing the melody to l.w.t.u.a..but even better is the way hooky finishes the song.

I'm glad someone else has noticed this, considering I posted a similar thread about this tune sometime late last year

I was listening to it a while back and it just hit me. I played and played over to make sure it was. I was gonna ask the question but thought it was just me. Glad I'm not the only one.

Hmmm, I've been hearing that since it was released....

I can also hear a bit at the end of Close Range that sounds like Let's Go.

So many songs contains bits of others, it's almost as though when they have been recording them they have realised there is a similarity, and have acknowledged this in the mix.

ICB contains lots of Dead Souls, Chosen Time has the drum pattern from These Days, Cries and Whispers and Skullcrusher are more than cousins, and bits of Let's Go seem to crop up in quite a few songs !

No, it's not you Major. When me and my pal first heard way of life we completly freaked hearing the last bits of it. Ever since when we play that song, we burst out singing LWTUA when WOL is (nearly) finished. It's great

XD i've likewise thought that since the first time i heard it. and was in fact reminded of it again upon popping Brotherhood into the CD tray in order to give a listen to "Broken Promise" for the Weekly Song thread going on elsewhere on this board...and have as a result been listening to the whole album since.

Oh it's not just me! Yes I can hear it and I've been listening to it for years and I was not sure.

LWTUA is in the beginning of As It Is.. as well. To my ears anyway

what about hooky ripping off his own bass line in 'broken promise'?sounds very like'isolation' to my ears.
